Eat Well, Be Well

Willow Roots works hard to provide the community with a range of food products from canned goods, spices, grains, meats, eggs and fresh produce from local farms. The diversity of providers allows the pantry to optimize our food offerings so that there is something for those who cook very little to those who enjoy cooking and getting creative with what they choose during their visit. In an effort to encourage cooking, we will be offering recipes that are simple, nutritious, and use ingredients available at Willow Roots. We are sharing these suggestions because in addition to caring deeply about feeding our community, our friends' overall health and wellness matters as well. The recipe section will include an overview of the nutritional values of many of the foods we distribute.
